The Olympic Games are over and the streets of Paris are back to their quietest period, August! So it's the perfect time to enjoy the capital and savour the summer.

Every summer, Paris celebrates cinema with free screenings in a wide range of venues. FESTIVALS IN THE PARC FLORAL

During the summer, until 8 September, the Parc Floral is offering a programme of 25 free concerts based on three themes: "Classique au Vert", "Paris Jazz Festival" and "Pestacles". The ideal opportunity to enjoy this botanical garden to the sound of an orchestra, jazz notes or a family show. Programme available at : festivalsduparcfloral.paris/programmation
PARIS PLAGES

As it does every summer, the City of Paris is setting up deckchairs, parasols and entertainment as part of the Paris Plages scheme. So it's at the Parc Rives-de-Seine, the Bassin de la Villette and the Canal Saint-Martin that you can take advantage of these summer facilities. Activities such as table football, sports sessions, giant games and petanque courts are all on the programme.

LA FÊTE DES TUILERIES

This year, in 2024, because of the Paris Olympic Games, the Fête des Tuileries has exceptionally been moved to the Porte de la Muette in the Bois de Boulogne. For the occasion, it has been renamed the "Paris Summer Festival", but it remains the place to be for rides and attractions, and the only Parisian funfair.

THE OPEN-AIR SCULPTURE MUSEUM

At the Squar Tino Rossi, on the Quai Saint-Bernard in the 5th arrondissement, you can enjoy a free open-air exhibition. In this green space, open 24/7, you can walk along the Seine and admire works by artists such as César, Brancusi, Nicolas Schöffer and Gilioli.
